omg why is it when i download halo 1 when i update it to play on multiplayer it makes me reinstall the game

As an idea have a look at this:
Viruses/Spyware/Malware Preliminary Removal Instructions

But it may even be that you might need to update your DirectX or even your Video drivers
At this stage it is unknown. Some testing required
