HelP! My Computer is going Mega Slow! What's wrong??

Hey anyone who knows what is happenin' with my PC -

I don't know what's up, but my computer virtually comes to a stand-still when my screensavers stay on for more than an hour. It freezes up a lot. I'm running Windows XP on a high-speed cable connection. I ran AdAware earlier today, found 87 instances, mostly tracking cookies. I got rid of them. I also ran CWS Shredder. Attatched is my HijackThis! log.
Please help! I dn't want to reformat!

Update your HJT.

Boot in Safe Mode.

UNinstall anything to do with this crap:

Run HJT on its own and let it 'fix'(if still there):

When done, delete the bold files. When a directory is also bold, delete everything in it, including that directory itself.

Then go to Post #18 (near the end) in this thread https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic19694.html where it says:
Go to http://startup.iamnotageek.com/search.php
and type in/copy-paste the following programs (just programname.exe) in the Searchbox, then click 'GO':
Read that part, then go and do similar, you are overloaded with unnecessary programs.

Slow pc

Hi bradpedersen!

The apps / processes that is running in the background can cause
your pc to be very slow.
Check for strange apps and processes on the taskmanager.
I know I tell this to every one but you should check your cpu temp aswel!
