Hi everyone, Its been a while since i've posted here but I need some help. My friend asked me for some help with his memory his computer has been displaying that he doesn't have enough virtual memory.

So I looked his computer specs up and found that his mobo supports PC2700. Now here's the question. On the page it says speed supported PC2700 MB/sec (messages at PC2100). What does this mean?

Here is the website:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...docname=c00038821&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Any help would be appreciated.

Divide the 2700 by 8 to get the speed. This is what it will run at. Also make sure you get the right voltage which the motherboard supports and make sure that it is physically the right size, eg 240pin.
