How do you make your tv as your pc monitor?

Hello I have huge tv in my room and I want to hook it up to my computer to use it as my monitor. My tv only has RCA inputs. I have a VGA to RCA converter but that does'nt help since I dont know how to set it up. Can you guys help?

So plug the VGA/ RCA adapter into your computers monitor output connection and plug the red and white RCA plugs into the back of your big TV, following red to red and white to white. That takes care of the sound connections. Only one thing is missing now... The video output connection. There should either be an S-Video (small round black connector), or a yellow composite video RCA connector left over. Plug this into the video input of the TV. You may have to play with the resolution and the refresh rate of the video from the computer. Computer monitors and TV's run at different frequencies. Be aware that the computer video may look pretty bad on the TV anyway
