I need a bit more clarification on RAID

So from all my research on RAID and trying the make sense of it, I have come to this summary

RAID 0 - Combines two or more hard drives together to make one big hard drive and make them perform faster

RAID 1- Two or more hard drives mimick each other exactly

Is this right?
