Try AVG - www.grisoft.com and download the free edition. Not the easiest to find as they really really want you to pay for it.....

Just in case you think Howard is suggesting you install all of them, all you need is one of each type - antivirus, antispyware, firewall and maybe a registry cleaner as well.
