T tymani Nov 7, 2003 #1 hello to all. I'm trying to install (from DOS)win98 OS on an older IBM Thinkpad. The Cdrom is not working. How can I install from the floppy frive? Or through the pcmcia slot connected to an external cdrom? any suggestions would be great. Thanx

Nodsu Posts: 5,451 +7 Nov 7, 2003 #2 You can copy the Win98 files over a Windows network with a network client for DOS copied on a bootable floppy. I doubt that you are able to find any DOS drivers for that PCMCIA slot.
