Internet Explorer error after startup

I'm running Windows 2003 Server.

Sometimes i get an Internet Explorer error imediately after startup.

I use IE very rarely and this error doesn't depend on the usage of IE during last session.

I can't provide the error details now, but it looks like a usual "The program has encountered an error and will be closed".

This error appears immediately after Windows startup, without starting the IE.

Any ideas on what can it be?

Look for an Error in the Event Viewer that corresponds to the time of the crash:


Start> Run> type in eventvwr

Do this on each the System and the Applications logs:
1. Click to open the log>
2. Look for the Error>
3 .Right click on the Error> Properties>
4. Click on Copy button, top right, below the down arrow
5. Paste here (Ctrl V)

You can ignore Warnings and Information Events. If you have a recurring Error with same ID#, same Source and same Description, only one copy is needed. You don't need to include the lines of code- if any- in the box below the Description.

This should give us additional information to look for a cause and resolution.
