Inzoi is the hottest new life sim, and fans are already making it extra spicy with NSFW mods

Editor's take: I will never understand why some people are so utterly obsessed with life simulation games. The entire concept behind The Sims and similar series strikes me as atrocious and meaningless – a complete waste of time reduced to a soulless, algorithmic approximation of dull bot management. Maybe it's the optional adult-themed antics. After all, porn can explain – and sell – almost anything.

Inzoi is a new life simulation game being developed in South Korea, using Unreal Engine 5 to deliver realistic graphics and a "life-like" relationship simulation. Inzoi Studio is clearly aiming to bring The Sims 4 into the modern tech era, though early reviews suggest the game could also turn out to be a dud. In any case, a certain type of gamer is already drooling over Inzoi's potential for virtual nudity and other adult content.

Korean publisher Krafton released the early access edition of Inzoi on March 28, and modders are already experimenting with the new interactive sim. The Inzoi Mod Enabler, which provides a quick and easy way to bypass restrictions and load custom content, has already been downloaded more than 43,000 times.

The second most-downloaded mod is Remove Shower Blur, which replaces the game's blurry effects with a more transparent look, allowing "Zois" characters to be properly displayed in towels when they enter the bathroom or take a shower. While the RSB mod doesn't enable any explicit NSFW content (yet), it serves as a reminder of how quickly modders can transform games into a 3D adult playground.

Thanks to the recently released Inzoi Mod Enabler, gamers can now install genuinely useful tweaks, such as skipping startup videos, disabling annoying visual effects, and more. Of course, adult content is inevitable, and a developer is already offering a paid mod via Patreon to enable nude female Zois.

Nude mods like WickedWhims are one of the key reasons why The Sims remains a popular series to this day. Inzoi could follow in The Sims 4's footsteps, offering gaming voyeurs a new way to experience naked 3D bots.

Inzoi is an ambitious project, and Unreal Engine 5 is certainly capable of rendering realistic characters in a domestic environment, doing all the weird things sim bots tend to do. However, the game could also turn out to be a complete waste of time, as Zois appear to be obsessed with becoming influencers.

Oh right this is that new Korean beauty simulator.
Eh, it looks okay I guess. Basics will throw their real lives at it.

I see an effort like this as mobile game designers drunk with power on real gaming hardware.

It's superficial fluff, but that's exactly why it's gonna be huge.

I've never understood "escaping" life to pretend you have a boring life.

Pirate, hitman, space explorer, Viking, gangster, wizard??? ... No! I want to be a normal person with a normal job that shops and changes outfits and buys furniture and stuff. -facepalm-

The day I stopped playing PC Building Simulator only to build a faster PC to install it on and continue bulding PCs... I realized I needed to make some changes.

I tried "The Sims". It was not bad but totally pointless because it didn't take long for me to realize I was wasting my life directing widget life on my monitor when I could be directing myself. OK, drive to town, feed the dog, etc

Not many Sims players here I see.
The fun imo was in doing dumb stuff. See if your sim can knock up the entire town etc. It wasnt very realistic either with an option to become a vampire etc.

Of course most will have tried the classic psychopath things as well. Call in a housekeeper and then remove the door, try to hit on the grim reaper, throw a party and lock everyone in.

A lot of people also just enjoy building a house, large overlap with the animal crossing player base there.

If Inzoi does the building aspect well and doesn't paywall items in dozens of expensive DLCs they'll do well.

If they don't make it super hard to mod they'll generate more sales because of more mod content from the community (free). The dev for the nude mod is currently paywalling it which probably won't last and would only benefit the game dev's if it's easier to achieve and becomes free with a modder releasing a free edition.

It's even worse ....influencers and bitcoin bros...maybe the porn aspect can save the game...

Hmmm SIMS SAW edition. I can now see the appeal. "Greetings and welcome. I want to play a game."

You can do weird s*** in Bullfrog's Syndicate too, but to me the real psychopaths are the people who enjoy directing and controlling other miniature people on the screen. I'm... scared of these chaps :-D

Well said, I'm right with you.
