I'm having difficulties connecting a laptop to a TV via an Svideo cable. I'm not very literate with computers, so simple directions work best. Here is the rundown though. The video card is an Intel(R) 965 express chipset family and the OS is Windows vista. The s video cable runs from the computer to a converter with s video capabilities into the television through coaxial cables. I don't know how to have the laptop identify or work with the TV, all I have right now is the standard Blue screen for input. There aren't any setting to modify or change on the television. Suggestions?

not sure what you mean by convertor to coax, can you not plug the svideo lead into the tv directly
to output to the tv on most PC's / laptop you use the display properties to choose the second monitor and then enable it.
