Microsoft word keeps crashing

Hey, i have recently had a bunch of problems with my word.

It crashes once it loads, reboots itself and crashes again (until I kill it). I really don't know what changed, since I haven't installed anything/changed hardware for quite some time now.

It works fine in word safe mode. Its office 2003, running on windows xp pro.

Any ideas?

Sometimes it is fine when I get in, but when I close it still crashes.

Have you ran any updates for office lately? Try that

I have the latest updates :S

Try loading Word (or any other Office program, like Excel or Powerpoint, etc) and go to the Help menu and click "Detect and Repair"...

that got it thanks. i was just wondering why it did that to begin with...
