Missing Files

Thumb drive has all my files appear on my desktop PC but on my Laptop I have missing files. I can search for file by name (if I know the full name and sub folder) and it will be there no issue with thumb drive on my
PC all files are visible. How can I make all files visible on my thumb drive when I use my laptop without doing a file search? Thanks In Advance

In the folder of the usb flash drive, go to view, click on folder options.
Now click on the general view tab, looked at advance settings below it will say show files or do not show files.
Tick it to display hidden files, click apply and hit ok, close the flash drive window and open up back up.
It should display all of your files you have on them.
