Mobile hotspot

I am using moto g4 plus and I am unable to connect my mobile Wi-Fi with other hotspot device. It just shows saved bt it's not connecting.

Please help

Does it connect to your own router?

Yes but not with any other mobile phones. Unable to use hotspot from other phones

Then this sounds to me as if the "moto g4 plus" has a settings issue OR needs an upgrade.

I have the latest upgrade also it's not happening with my new g5 plus.

Also one more issue , I am unable to download or update any app from play store with my data connection, is there any troubleshooting for this

I would HARD RESET the device
