mscofig not woking.

whenever i go to run and type msconfig i get the following: windows cannot find msconfig make sure you typed it in correctly and try again.
anybody know how to fix this?

oh and i DID spell it correctly.

It could be that some malicious program has deleted it or renamed it. Have you checked for virus' and malware/spyware?

Do a search on the C: drive for "msconfig" and see if anything shows up.

They have downloads for the msconfig executable in Win 95, and 2000. Not sure how it works exactly, I dont know if they are the same apps as in XP and 98, maybe they're ported, I dunno, but they definetly work. I use the 2k version on two of my workstations at work.
