MSN Mail Says Install Dictionary From Works 7.0 for E-mail Spellchecker - HOW?

I have Bell Sympatico Regular High Speed with MSN Premium. MSN Mail from MSN Premium is my default e-mail program. I like it but the when I try to use the spellchecker feature it tells me - I do not have a Dictionary installed - Please install one available with the installation of MS Office or MS Works.

I HAVE MS Works 7.0 and have reinstalled it but MSN Mail doesn't detect its Dictionary.

When I downloaded MSN Premium my Works WP was not working ( the ltkrn13n.dll thing ). It works fine now.

Anything I could do to "install" its dictionary or make MSN Mail detect it WITHOUT HAVING TO UNISTALL MSN PREMIUM AND DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN??!!

It took ages to get working the first time and handles my Web based Security Program (Freedom, which I like) and what a mess if I screw it up! :dead:

Any suggestions from you exquisite gurus would be very much appreciated! Thanks,

Hi, I don´t know if you still need an answer to your concern but as far as being able to use the spellchecker in MSN Premium with Works 7.0, I am afraid you will not be able to do it since the MSN software does not recognize the Works 7.0 dictionary. You will need to have Office installed.

Hi Analia, and thanks for the reply. Since then I've installed Incredimail, which has it's own dictionary, and I use that to write mail ( and MSN to open it because it works with my security programs.) May sound complicated, but it works for me. Glad to know this though - if ever I needed to free up space and got rid of I.M. thinking I could just re-download MSN Premium and it would then use Works' dictionary - as the people at MSN seemed to think...Appreciate the heads up!

Hi I'm having a problem with my email (MSN email/ Hotmail) I do not have a spell checker and a pop up window says to download from Microsoft Works spellchecker.

I bought a Compaq Presario with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

Can anyone assist me on how I can find a download that would give me a spellchecker for my email?
