My WiFi won’t work and has a computer with a plug on the side and a red x at the bottom right

Hello my name is Bishop,
None of this worked what do I do if the red x is still there and only one thing pops up in network connections and that called “Ethernet 2” it is not disabled I troubleshoot this pc and it says to plug a Ethernet cable into my computer how can I fix this without plugging an Ethernet cable into my pc. (ps restarting or resetting did not work)

Hard to determine what you mean with that terse comment. The Red X means you do NOT have the correct driver for that device. You don't want the cable? -- then your last choice is a WiFi connection - - is that device active, antennae switch in the ON position?

Does your PC have a wireless NIC installed? I'm not trying to be condescending but we need some more information to help you. Make, model, recent changes, etc.
