Need advice on wat is needed for security

ok I reformated my comp. put kaprinsky on it and avg anti-spyware. can you please tell me wat else is needed. just the very essentials. TY in advance.

Assuming you meant Kaspersky Internet Security

All Windows Security Updates !

Nothing else

If you just meant Kaspersky AntiVirus only
Then you should also think of purchasing (or getting one free) a personnal firewall
