Need for speed road challenge - graphics

i have need for speed road challenge and the graphics are terrible, i'm not sure if this is because it is not compatable with xp - does anyone know a way round this. I have a demo copy on which the graphics are brilliant, it doesn't make sense

Ok first go to start, settings, control panel, appearance and themes, display, setting tab, advanced, and it say there what you have. :bounce:
