this is going how the setup be

Cable wired to my cable modem to my linksys and to my dlink wireless router and this is where complicated when i connect to my wireless on my laptop there are no signal and the router is for my voip " vonages but is not connect yets " so i rewired it

this way cable modem to dlink routed " not wireless " to my laptop

i know ppl is complicated !

English is a complicated language indeed..

I suppose you want to set up your home network using two routers whoch is just silly - it would be much easier with one router and one switch/access point. Your question has been asked before, try the amazing search feature.

Try using full sentences and paragraphs in English language when you reply.

@Nodsu - take it easy on newbies, they are still getting used to the forum. You don't even know if English is this guys first language or how old he/she is. Plus the search function sucks. We had a post about this exact same issue and I had to manually go through the posts to find it because the search wouldn't find it.
