New Zealand trucker 'blown up like balloon' by air hose

A New Zealand truck driver who fell on a compressed air hose that pierced his buttock has survived being blown up like a balloon.

Mr McCormack confided that the air was gradually escaping his body in the way that air usually does.

By the way this is the most 'weird' news I've read about NZL. I thought they have few million people and about a zillion sheep living over there; but trucks with compressed air hoses ...... ?

The compressed air line was for the trailer's brakes. N.Z. version of the story here, and the kind of truck+trailer fairly prevalent on the roads here.
