norton Internet security 2005

I get the message:Norton Antivirus 2005 Does not support the repair feature,Please Uninstall and reinstall.

This happens when i download a torrent and its gonna be loaded by Utorrent

What's the problem with it?

what causes it?

how do i remove them?

halfway through removing,it says Generating error report|

what do i do to remove it?

do i have to reformat?

I had the same issue and i did a complete reformat, but when windows update try to install windows installer DO NOT LET IT INSTALL i didnt get that message until after the installer had been instaled and it completely messed up my NIS 2005 files
