I want to upgrade from win98 se to win2000 pro.As I'm not a computer specialist,I would like to consult a manual or guide about these 2 OS.Do you know any site to dl these manuals from ?

when u buy the upgrade it will come with some manuals, u can check www.microsoft.com if they have the manuals there.

Not necessarily.

If your system isn't really 'that good' of a system, stay away from XP. It tends to be very laggy. 2000 would be a great choice.
