Problem with USB 1.0 / 2.0

I Have A Laptop With A Usb 1.0 Port. I Realized That The Dvd/cd Burner That I Bought Uses Usb 2.0....is There A Way To Covert My Usb 1.0 To Work With The Dvd/cd That Uses Usb 2.0? Or Should There Be Any Problems With Compatibility?

You can`t convert your usb1 to usb2. However, You could buy a usb2 pci card.

Since it's a laptop, I think a PCMCIA card would work better.
