I AM BUILDING A COMP FOR A FRIEND AND THE MBOARD WONT SPINN THE SATA
HDD

abit a8x
western digital hdd 80 gb sata 8m 7200 rpm
PHEONIX BIOS

i have been stressing for a cpl of days now anyone know what it could be?

is the mboard junk?

Have you enabled SATA in the bios?

the bios doesnt have a sata enable

i belive the sata is not working properly on the mboard i am not too sure tho
