I can't find it on the laptop, can't run belarc advisor, is it in the Control Panel? I've been looking at this link https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-find-the-windows-vista-product-key-code-2626105

Ok, correction, Belarc Advisor is installed, where is the producy key hiding at??

Well, I've just been given 4 CD's with 4 different OS's on them, XP Home, Windows 7, Win 2000 & Win 7 Ultimate/SP1. Think I'll try XP Home.
