Secure deleting

Can anyone recommend a secure deleting programe?

i.e. personal details, passwords etc. on hard drive, recent activity.

For doing it withing windows, I don't know of anything. I't would depend on what you call secure. If you wanted a complete format which securely deleted everything on your drive, I'd say http://dban.sourceforge.net

Tune Up Utilities Has It, You can delete a folder with items up to 100 times - with just a few clicks.

It also allows you to customize computer (like themes and icons) REALLY well.

I use System Utilities 6 and use that to wipe the files I want wiped out.

It has lots of other features as well and so far I am very impressed with it.

If you want something to wipe your entire drive, I use Zero Data from www.eurosoft-uk.com. I didn't buy, it came with my AS program I am enrolled in.

Spybot Search and Destroy has a good shredder.

You can even choose the number of shreds for single files.
