Sound problem!!!

I have some problems with my Altechlansing ADA885 digital surround system and Creative SB Live 5.1 soundcard, there is surround but no bass in quad mode and no surround but bass in dolby digital mode.
Whats wrong?

Try posting this on news://news.creative.com in the live or audigy newsgroup there. I'm pretty sure there's some patch around for those cards with that some, or some altec system at least.
