Taskbar Quick-Launch Icons are Too Big

I just reinstalled WinXP SP 2 Titanium Edition, and used Windows Update to load the standard fixes.

I don't know why, but the icons in the quick-launch zone of the taskbar (a feature which I like to use a lot) are way too big.

In fact, they are the exact same size as the icons on the desktops. All of the other icons of the taskbar are of the "proper" size. Only the quick-lauch area seems affected.

How do I change the size of the quick-launch area icons?

Thanks.

Pax.

Titanium Edition? Thats news to me...

Anyway, right click in the quicklaunch bar (but not on an icon). Go to View -> Small Icons.

Thank you!

Titanium Edition is a "slightly hacked" version of XP by a team of french guys in France that "packages" SP2 and some software such as Ad-Aware SE, Emule, and ofter stuff (which I mostly do NOT install), all into one "simple-easy-to-use" install.

That version also changes some of Windows settings (essentially: automatically sets some local and internet settings to the maximum, and disables some services that could be used as security loopholes), and changes a few that increase system performance.

Because it comes in French (France) only, personnally I'd have preferred a "true" english original version of XP, but given that I'm completely broke right now, I'll buy the "official" software when I can...

I couldn't initially access the quick-launch right-click context menu for two because I had put my Taskbar in VERTICAL mode on the left of the screen, and thus there wasn't "much" space to right-click in it. So when I right-clicked in the quick-launch area of the taskbar I initially got only the "context-menus" for the icons, not the context menu for the quick-launch area itself. Not only that, but when the taskbar is LOCKED, those settings are not visible at all. Duh! Well, Thanks!

Now that I know that in Windows right-cliking brings up a LIMITED context-menu, I'll be more careful.. and make sure I am in an unlocked mode hwen I want to change some settings.

Problem (finaly!) solved and noted!
