University Laptop Suggestion

Good morning everyone!
As you can see from the title I am looking for a university laptop that can give me what I am looking for.
I've had a look everywhere in the internet and still I am really confused about it.
I am looking for something under £600 (max £650) that can give me good performance. I am going to study accounting and I am asking suggestions because I really know little about laptops.
At the moment I have 2 options that I'm considering:
- Lenovo flexi 5 14" 256gb;
- Huawei Matebook D14 256gb.
I think I am writing in the right forum based on the past discussions. Obviously if you have other suggestions regarding new laptops, please tell me everything you know.
Also, I've tried to look in the past topics about what I'm writing and I couldn't find anything. If this is a subject already discussed in the past, I apologize in advance.

I would like to say thank you for the time you spent reading this post!
Stay Safe! :)

For that price, most laptops tend to be very similar - the differences tend to come in the form of variations across screen quality, keyboard layout and feel, and small differences in processors.

For example, Dell has the Inspiron 15 5000 that uses AMD's superb Ryzen 5 4500U processor for £649.99:

It has a bigger screen than the two you listed, which gives you a bit more real estate to work with when studying, but the screen and keyboard may not be to your tastes. It does have a 512 GB SSD drive though.
