Virtual Box error

Hello all!

I was using Virtual box all fine, But when I opened the software today, I am getting this error.. I uninstalled the c++ redistributable etc. still same error. resinstalled the virtual box too.

The error is

The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect.

I tried all sort of fixes, But in vain..

Please help!

What version of virtualbox are you running, and what is your operating system?

Have you tried removing it and then doing a fresh install?

Yes I have tried reinstalling the Software, My base OS is Windows 7 Home Basic ( Bit)

Th virtual box version is VirtualBox-4.1.4-74291-Win

Problem fixed! After I uninstalled Visual C++ Redistributable and did windows update!
