Why can't I rate my MP3 files like I used to be able to? How do I fix this disabled feature?
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I can NOT rate my mp3 songs anymore! I do NOT know why. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
More Details:
Problem 1) I can NOT rate my mp3 files with the 5-Star Rating system anymore. Using Windows Vista, I can not rate the files in Windows Media Player 11. I tried clicking on one of the stars of an mp3 and nothing happens; not even a single star is highlighted yellow anymore.
Problem 2) I tried rating the mp3 files using folder view. In folder view, I set the view into DETAILS, and I enabled the RATINGS detail. I can not click on the ratings; just like in WMP11. I swear to god that I can change the rating in DETAIL view.
Before you give any comments/suggestions, I tell you that:
1) I can change the rating tags using the Windows Vista, quick tag editing perk that's built into the folders.
2) I can also change the ratings with a tag editing software.
3) I'm trying to figure out if I disabled the feature and how to enable/disable it.
