Why does my computer keep crashing?

my computer has recently started crashing for some strange reason.it only seems to do it if somebody is playin a game or watching a video.but it has done it while i have been on facebook aswell...any ideas as why this is happening?

We could use a little more info on just what your computer is please... What is it's make and model numbers?

Any errors on crashing? Does it simply hang or does it restart? Any BSOD? Are you running any anti-virus software?
