Wifi shows 'no internet' but works fine with Ethernet Cables

I am currently connected via ethernet. and WiFi. what bugs me is that the ethernet and Wifi that I am connected with are the same. The Ethernet cable and the WiFi are coming from the same router.
If I disconnect my ethernet, I am left with WiFi that says 'no internet, secured'. I have already cleared and readded the same wifi connection in the list of my known networks yet it ain't solve the problems, I have already checked the drivers for network adapters and they all have latest drivers.

Please help me. TIA!

I have seen a lot of this with Windows 10 lately. Here is a link that has solved this problem on a colleague's PC:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...d/07e3e865-0cba-4f05-9b73-2b480cd1c322?auth=1

If this doesn't work here is what Microsoft suggests next:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10741/windows-10-fix-network-connection-issues

In our office this has been the specific fix:

Click start
Type cmd
Right click and run as administrator

netsh winsock reset catalog (Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults)

netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log (Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults)

The most subtle, is an initial connection which subsequently then fails during a release/renew cycle: a driver issue.

A lot of key information missing from the original poster.... no troubleshooting attempts offered either.
Is this a home router? Does wifi work on other devices? Smartphones? Other laptops? Whilst connected to the wifi, can you ping other wired devices?

In three weeks we'll be due for the next edition of Windows 10 so I'd not put a lot of time into this. The new installation may solve the problem.

Assuming that you decided to be patient and await the release of the new version of Windows you can get it now and keep all your programs and data.

Click on Update now. I'd leave it until the evening and make sure you don't interrupt the process. Impatience is the cause of all sorts of PC problems. Hopefully your driver issue will be resolved but if not post again.
