hello.. im getting this msg on my PC.. wut do i do?
then it shuts down after countdown WAAHH

You have the Sasser worm.

Download the removal tool from HERE

Once it`s gone, run Windows updates, also run the Windows malicious software removal tool.

Make sure you antivirus/firewall are upto date.

hmm checked for the sasser worm.. did not find..
checked windows update... no updates available..
3rd: no malicious software detected
and my AV (NOD32) is upto date...

Hmm.. :S could it be the blaster worm?

just ran it.. none detected... the virus hasnt shut down my PC since like.. 2 nights before i started this post.. could it be that its gone? im scared its jus lurking around hiding itself n surprise me later..

ive done the blaster and sasser worm removal tools.. none found.. tried to windows update but there are no avail. updates.. same for my AV... n for windows malicious software removal tool.. nothing

any other ideas sir?

Just to be on the safe side.

Go and have your computer scanned by the Trend Houscall online scanner.

Then go and read both these threads by RBS.

How to remove Trojans and its ilk! and How to remove Begin2search / coolwebsearch and other nasties. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Then see, How to post your Hijackthis log-file as an ATTACHMENT.
