Windows Installer

If I try to use the d cd drive I cannot install from disk.

It gives me an error regarding Windows Installer cannot install because you are either in safe mode or notify your systems rep. I think that's the jest.


I guess my question is how can I see if it Windows installer is working and how do I get it to work again if in fact that is the problem. Thanks

What is the make, model and type of com[uter? (Dell, HP, etc.) Procesor cspsbilities, 32 GB?, whst is the pertsing ysterm?
Whst is the computer type? (desltop, laptop)

I think your system is thinking that it is in safe mode. You need to address that problem first to be able to install windows xp
