Hello, I saw this community through Google, and I am experiencing a very annoying problem with Windows XP, and Windows 7; whenever I try to connect to Windows Update, regardless of whether I am using XP or 7. It just shows up with an error page, the same goes for support.microsoft.com, and download.microsoft.com; none of them load. I've tried a range of hopeful solutions, such as registering the DLL files, clearing the cache, allowing it in the trusted sites etc., yet none of them have any effect. This has been persisting for over a month now, before it used to work at intervals, now it doesn't even work. I am currently developing a project, and I cannot download the required software (Visual Studio) to do so. Neither can I download programs such as Live Messenger, and so on. Any help please?
