Windows XP 64 bit

Is this a great operating system for an AMD 3000+ socket 754 and 1GB of ram? Would i see any performance boost from 32 bit to 64bit OS?

It's as "great" as normal XP Pro if you have drivers for all of your devices.

No, you probably wouldn't see any difference in speed (neither faster nor slower).

I might be worthwhile to point out that XP 64-bit requires drivers be rewritten by manufacturers. Some companies have made a better effort than others.
