Intel has slashed the prices of some of its Centrino chip bundles. Well, slashed isn't really the best description - shaved is more like it, with a fixed discount of $2 being placed on bundles containing the Pentium M 770, 760, 750, 740 and 730. These all use a 533MHz frontside bus, and come in the integrated (915GM) or discrete (915PM) forms. The 915-compatible LV Pentium M 758 and ULV Pentium M 738 bundles were also cut by $2.
