The rumor mill from last week produced some tension and fear when it was announced that Chaintech, renowned enthusiast manufacturer, would be halting it's motherboard production business and stick only to other peripherals. That's a bunch of hogwash, says Chaintech, and here's the press release to prove it. The rumor of Chaintech abandoning their motherboards came about when Chaintech announced a change of name for the company to Walton Chaintech Cooperation, after Walton Advanced Engineering acquired a large portion of the company. Directly the opposite of what some people have been fearing, Chaintech plans to continue expanding their hardware market. This is good to hear, as Chaintech products have always tended to be high quality and they have been popular among both enthusiasts and OEM's.
