The Wii console, just a few short weeks away, has had very little previews other than a couple interface glimpses and stories from Nintendo. Now, however, there's a fairly decent preview of the new console. The preview looks at the physical appearance of the Wii, the intuitiveness of the interface, the controls, some of the games and more. He even described the process of actually steering a vehicle in Excite Truck by swinging the controller left and right. I seem to recall as a kid playing a game and pulling the controller trying to get my dude to fly farther. Maybe now that tactic will actually work.
It's a decent read, and as he said it looks like the Wii's success will boil down to the software. Only a few weeks left until we find out first hand.
