With the Nvidia G92 series of GPU's gaining solid ground in the graphics market place, Asus has announced their EN8800GT, the world's first Nvidia GeForce 8800GT graphics card with a full 1GB of built-in memory.

The DirectX 10 friendly card runs at the same speeds as the regular 8800GT, but Asus claims the extra RAM helps it achieve a 10% higher score in 3DMark06, while its "Glaciator Fansink" will reportedly keep the GPU running at temperatures that are up to 7°C cooler than reference designed boards. The card also includes Asus' SmartDoctor tool for overclocking not only the core and memory clocks, but the shader clock as well.
