The battle for the low-cost notebook market continued to heat up today with a new challenger from PC maker ECS now making the rounds at the CeBIT show in Germany. Dubbed the G10IL, the laptop apparently includes three USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, VGA connection, Webcam, 56k modem, built-in HSDPA 7.2 and will likely include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth - though the latter two features have not been confirmed.

Details are sketchy at the moment as the company did not reveal any information regarding the operating system, processor, display, storage capacity or memory. All we know is that the notebook is said to cost below $500 and has a sleek design that, frankly, none of the other low-cost notebooks sport.
