Apple has released an update for iTunes, bringing the popular software to version 7.7.1. The new release includes several bug fixes and supposedly boosts stability as well, all of which sounds good on paper and would be good to have. Unfortunately, it seems that some iTunes users don't see much value in the release, claiming that most of the glaring issues users complain about have gone unfixed.

Top issues include slow sync times and backup times, thumbnails not functioning properly for pictures based upon what version was running when they were imported and other issues. Even if many bugs remain unfixed, there's no reason to miss an upgrade.
