Battery Life

The Huawei Mate 10 comes with a massive 4,000 mAh battery, which is more than adequate for the display size. Huawei has historically included enormous batteries with their large-screen flagships, delivering excellent battery life, and this is no exception with the Mate 10.

Most of the benchmarks above reveal fantastic battery life for the Mate 10, though not necessarily higher than the Mate 9 and not hugely ahead of other top contenders. The great news here is that even though the Mate 10 isn't always the top performer, it still delivers great battery life, especially in key tests like web browsing.

Oddly, the Mate 10 isn't as strong in PCMark tests, though it does well in Basemark Web 3.0. Charge times are also very good thanks to fast charging support and a powerful charger included in the box. Despite the 4,000 mAh cell, the Mate 10 charges in just over 90 minutes.
