Benchmarks: Company of Heroes, Far Cry

First up we have Company of Heroes and at 1920x1200 the Radeon HD 2900XT is just 6fps faster than the GeForce 8800 GTS (640MB), while losing by 13fps to the GeForce 8800 GTX. The GeForce 8800 Ultra is again much faster, though for the price of two Radeon HD 2900XT's, you could buy just one GeForce 8800 Ultra. Price vs. Performance the Radeon HD 2900XT does very well in Company of Heroes.

The high-end graphics cards tear through Far Cry, rendering an average frame rate of well over 100fps. The Radeon HD 2900XT was 10fps faster than the GeForce 8800 GTS (640MB), while it was just 7fps slower than the GeForce 8800 GTX. Therefore once again on a performance vs. price ratio the new Radeon does very well.
