Gaming Performance

Supreme Commander saw the ASUS P5K Deluxe lead the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R by a few frames per second, which is quite a big deal in this demanding game. Despite this difference the two boards were neck to neck in Company of Heroes and Far Cry. While the AMD Athlon64 X2 system was competitive in Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes, it did slip away in Far Cry which relies heavily on processor performance.
