Despite the 500MHz clock speed advantage the Core i7-4790K produced the same 27GB/s bandwidth of other Core i7 and Core i5 processors, with the exception of the quad-channel LGA2011 Core i7's.

The 14% increase in clock speed gave the Core i7-4790K 6% more L1 bandwidth and 7% more L2 bandwidth than the 4770K, making it the fastest processor we tested.
