WinRAR showed a 15% performance advantage going to the Core i7-4790K when compared to the 4770K when measuring multi-threading performance.

It took just 16.7 seconds for the Core i7-4790K to complete the Photoshop CS6 workload, a 14% improvement over the 4770K.
