Benchmarks: ScienceMark 2.0


In the first batch of ScienceMark 2.0 results the Phenom X3 processors did not give up a great deal of performance when compared to the X4s, only the low-clocked Phenom X3 8450 dropped off the pace a bit. While the Phenom X3 processors scaled well in this test, so did the Athlon64 X2 5200+ which actually beat both the Phenom X4 9850 and Core 2 Duo Q6600 processors in the Molecular Dynamics test.


This next lot of ScienceMark 2.0 results looks at STREAM and BLAS/FLOPs test performance. Again the Phenom X3 processors scaled very well.
