AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (AM2) Overclocking Performance

The X3: Reunion performance actually favors the Athlon64 3000+ over both the 3800+ configurations. Despite being clocked 20MHz lower than the 2.72GHz 3800+, the 3000+ was operating with significantly better memory timings. As a result the frame rate performance was better when using the slightly slower 3000+.
F.E.A.R creates more of a graphics card bottleneck, and as a result there is near no difference between all three configurations. Quake 4 again shows very little difference between the three overclocked Athlon64 configurations, which is great news for the Athlon64 3000+ as it proves these processors can overclock just as well.
